About Us

Welcome to Tomboy Athletic Club!

TAC was born from the shared vision of co-founders Erin Gross and Katie Im, whose journey began as teammates on Davidson College’s NCAA Division I women’s soccer team in 2014. But their story started long before. Growing up in Florida, they unknowingly competed against each other in top-tier travel soccer leagues, laying the foundation for a friendship rooted in a shared love for competition.

At Davidson, their bond extended beyond the field, fueled by a mutual appreciation for drive, empowerment, and a distinct sense of style. After graduating and moving to New York City, Erin and Katie officially launched Tomboy Athletic Club in 2024.

Tomboy celebrates the athlete in everyone, blending streetwear-inspired designs with a commitment to inclusivity and community. We aim to empower individuals to embrace their unique style and strength, both on and off the field.
